These terms govern your use of AdHush, a Chrome browser extension and related services operated by Kruppe Software (“we”). By installing or using AdHush, you agree to these terms.

The service

AdHush analyzes video frames from your active streaming tab and automatically mutes the audio during commercial breaks. The service does not modify, intercept, or rebroadcast the underlying video stream. Audio muting is done at the browser level. AdHush also supports a self-assembled companion device (the AdHush Box) that performs the same muting on a television you own and control; you assemble and operate that hardware yourself, at your own risk.

Accounts

A Google account is required to use AdHush. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Free and paid plans

AdHush includes a free allowance of 5 hours of active analysis time per month. Beyond that, a paid subscription is required at $7.99/month (USD), billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel any time from your account page. Refunds are available within 7 days of charge for unused subscriptions.

Acceptable use

You agree not to abuse the service, attempt to bypass the free allowance, share device credentials, or use AdHush in violation of any third-party platform’s terms (including the streaming services we support).

Some pages link to third-party retailers for parts you may choose to buy. As an Amazon Associate, Kruppe Software earns from qualifying purchases. This does not change the price you pay, and we do not endorse or warrant third-party products.

Disclaimers

AdHush is provided “as is.” Ad-detection accuracy is not guaranteed; some commercial audio may play through and some show audio may briefly mute. We may change classification quality, supported platforms, or pricing with reasonable notice.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of AdHush is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
